I&J forms part of the frozen, fresh and convenience foods category with more than 53 leading and best-loved South African brands. I&J was established in Cape Town in 1910 and today it’s the largest right-holder in the South African hake fishery, a major stakeholder in the local seafood market and a significant generator of foreign exchange and jobs. I&J currently employs more than 1500 people across all business units, including fishing, fish processing and aquaculture. I&J’s commitment to sustainable fishing is captured in the participation agreement it signed with the Southern African Sustainable Seafood Initiative (WWF-SASSI) in July 2012, and through its work with the Responsible Fishing Alliance, the company is at the forefront of efforts to improve the environmental performance of the South African fishing industry. Indigo Cosmetics

Indigo Cosmetics is one of the largest producers of cosmetics and toiletries in South Africa. Formerly known as Yardley of London (Africa) (Pty) Ltd, it has been manufacturing and distributing Yardley cosmetic products in Southern Africa since 1955. In 1992 National Brands Limited, an AVI subsidiary, purchased the Yardley business from the UK parent company and grew it into a multi-million Rand entity which led to the formation of a separate company within AVI in July 2003 called Indigo Cosmetics. Green Cross

Green Cross manufacture and distribute shoes, shoe care products and foot care products. Green Cross has its own manufacturing plant in Cape Town and also imports product from overseas.
