SA Innovation Summit

The SA Innovation Summit as an annual flagship event on the South African Innovation Calendar, is a platform for nurturing, developing and showcasing African innovation, as well as facilitating innovation thought-leadership. Created to support and promote innovation and facilitate collaboration within its own ecosystem, the initiative brings together corporates, thought leaders, inventors, entrepreneurs, academia and policy makers to amplify South Africa’s renowned competitive edge and to inspire sustained economic growth across the continent of Africa.

The SA Innovation Summit  is striving to be the leading innovation platform in Africa with already interest expressed from 21 African countries to participate in this year’s Summit. The Summit has distilled the focus of the program and we wish to attract thought-leaders, speakers, and participants around the following key tracts:

• BioTech
• AgriTech
• EduTech
• Cities of the Future
• Space/Big Data/Artificial Intelligence/Robotics

African Agenda: The Summit’s agenda is into Africa from Africa, and therefore our participants are largely from, and have seasoned experience with the Africa context. Interest has already been expressed from 21 African countries to participate in this year’s Summit

Woman Agenda: We recognise the invaluable role woman play in shaping our future. As a result we have commited to ensuring that at least 50% of all thought- leaders, presenters, and panelists at the 2017 Summit are woman.

Environmental Agenda: We aim to challenge and inspire conversations around the impact on our collective environments, both physical and social, and identifying how we can effect meaningful change.
